In the middle of an emotional and traumatic international move, my husband and I decided to take the family away for a trip to Normandy so we could relax and get away from all the upheaval of moving. Two days before we left, I began to feel ill, and by the time we reached the port in Cherbourg, I was... More

We arrived & stayed during a cold January, but the warm welcome by Debbie and Remy, roaring log fire, excellent home made food, oh so comfortable guest lounge, clean, pretty room and great shower all made for a very pleasant experience during our six day house hunting trip in the area. The room overlooked the carefully thought out garden, with... More

We only got chance to stay one night however we were very well looked after. Debbie was an excellent host and the room was large and comfortable and the continental breakfast was just what we needed. Highly recommended to anyone staying in that part of France. More

We have absolutely no complaints after our stay at La Maison du Bocage. On arrival, we enjoyed a delicious 4 course dinner whilst Debbie and her kids were more than happy to entertain our 11 month old daughter. Our room was clean and nicely furnished with a lovely ensuite (complete with all singing all dancing power shower!) overlooking the beautiful... More

Perfect location for 2 nights on our way down to Brittany. Great welcome by Debbie and all her family, clean and simple rooms with good continental breakfast. Evening meal was tasty, homecooked and enjoyed by all the kids and adults around the table. Debbie was very generous with wine and cider as advertised. Communial eating with other guests was not... Having read previous reviews, we were encouraged to think we had made a good choice. Our experience of the stay was even better than we had hoped. Debbie and her family could not have been nicer, or more welcoming, and the house and amenities were excellent. We were sorry to leave after three days, but hope to re-book next time... More

I was fortunate enough to stay at this family-run B&B in Normandy. If this charming home of Debbie and Remy Duprays doesn’t lead you to be back soon I should be very surprised. Weather you take trips to the historical surroundings and visit Caen/Bayeux and the stunning tapestry or you visit the D-Day beaches nearby or you simply take advantage... More

Very welcoming host - speak both English & French. Pretty location; clean rooms. Lovely food. Child friendly facilities. Location is excellent for visiting the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel and more inland areas. Would love to go back for another holiday! More

We wanted a B&B that was child friendly - and this really fitted the bill. Debbie and her family couldn't have been more welcoming. They really understand the needs of those travelling with small children (ours are 2 & 4). She cooked child friendly teas for them and wonderful 4 course suppers for us ! She has a great knowledge...
