Great stay at this super B and B. Jan and Grant are perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and going the extra mile to make their guests stay just perfect. Lovely spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, delightful views of mountains and wildlife and delicious breakfasts. This was our second stay and we hope to be back again. Have no hesitation in recommending wholeheartedly... More

This was our third year to Netherfield B&B, because it truly is the best B&B we have ever been to, and we've been to many ! The rooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished with stunning views of the Cairngorms and several bird species (including greater spotted woodpeckers) and red squirrels to watch in the garden. Jan and Grant are... More

We could not have asked for anything better on our first trip to Scotland. The views were picturesque, the wildlife was stunning, the weather was tremendous and the attractions were terrific. However, nothing compared to the splendid accomodation of Netherfield B&B. You could not ask to meet two nice people than Jan and Grant. They were welcoming, talkative, funny and... More

We stayed two nights at Netherfield B&B. It was a fantastic stay. Superb room, en suite, good and quiet location. It was the best breakfast we had on our whole trip (10 days through Scotland). Jan and Grant are great hosts always at hand with an advice and a helping hand. Furthermore we enjoyed the view (at breakfast) on the... More

My husband and I stayed at Grant and Jan's lovely B & B for three nights in July of 2011. The two of them are warm, welcoming and personable. They readily shared their knowledge of the local area along with loans of maps. The Scottish breakfasts were superb with a lot of choices. They were always willing to make more... More

Myself, my 5 year old son and our friend had the pleasure of 2 nights at Netherfield. When I say pleasure it really was a fantastic pleasure to stay in Jan and Grants beautiful home. The welcome we recieved was first class and this care continued throughout our stay especially where my wee boy was concerned. The breakfasts were superb... More

The bathroom was spacious & clean to our surprise. the hot water & heating was sufficient & ample which was very important to us with young children. every morning, we woke up with a view of the garden & the wild birds, red squirrels which were frequent visitors to the owners' lovely garden. Jan & Grant also had plenty of... More

This was our second four night visit to Nerthefield and as in 2008 Grant and Jan put themselves out to make our stay very enjoyable. Our room and en suite were excellent and Grant's breakfasts perfectly cooked. It must be the best place by far to stay in the area. We will be returning to try to see the dotterel! More

We spent two nights at Netherfield B&B in April and really enjoyed the tranquility of the place and the area. Jan and Grant were marvelous hosts who really made us feel welcome. The room was spacious with great views of the garden and the mountains. We caught a glimpse of a pair of the famous red squirrels from our windows.... More
