The Salty Rose has been one of our favorite Nova Scotian South Shore getaway destinations for a few years now. It's off the beaten path just enough to feel isolated but not so far away from amenities that you feel lonely. :) We have only gone as a couple for romantic getaways but often remark how much our kids would... For the past two years, my husband and I have rented one of the Salty Rose cottages.We stayed there for 2 weeks each time. These cottages are very special , as they are right on the sea. From any of the 7 cottages, you just have to walk across a small amount of lawn, and then you are right on... More
