“Atmospheric Ryokan - excellent value”

I was recommended this by the (soon to be defunct) Welcome Inn Reservation service for foreigners in Japan, was highly satisfied by my stay and wish in retrospect I stayed longer. This inn right on the main road. The inn is architecture-wise interesting, inside and outside. Our room was with a nice view on a small garden. It was cleaned ok (except for the windows) but did not overcome the oldness. It was made well equipped when the inn and town prospered a long time ago, I could tell. Remains of... More
