The Fujiya is a great, 7-room ryokan in the gorgeous, quaint and idyllic onsen town of Kurokawa onsen. This is an overnight trip from Kumamoto that is highly recommended. The gorgeous front gate with moss, stone and wood is picture perfect. The hotel is rather new, but tries hard to recreate old Japan with lots of antiques and traditional construction.... More
