An excellent base for some wonderful coastal walks. I would bestow the untimate accolade - I would recommend it to my mother! Clean and attractive, yet practical for walkers with muddy boots! A marvellous breakfast and, if you hate waste, you can request only one sausage, piece of bacon etc. Fresh milk in the room, no horrid UHT or wasteful... More

We stayed at Canaston Oaks on a recent trip to West Wales. It was a last minute decision to celebrate our 1st anniversary but what a great decision. It is the perfect getaway; luxury rooms with warm welcoming owners who couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely stay here again, and recommend Canaston Oaks to anyone who is looking... More

Looked at a lot of places to stay in the Pembrokeshire area and finally settled with Canaston Oaks after reading the reviews on here and very glad I did. Everything is as you would expect from a 5* and the location perfect if your looking for somewhere quiet to get away from it all. Our room overlooked the nearby fields... More

We stayed this week for two nights, as a bit of a last minute trip to get away from it all. We love Pembrokeshire and have stayed in several different places over the years, a number of which near Narberth. Our stay at Caneston Oaks was the best, by a significant margin. It was so peaceful and quiet but in... More

A little picturesque gem tucked away off the A40, the quality of the rooms was astounding - we took the family suite as we had our 14 year old daughter with us and she raved about too! Breakfast was also superb, we had the fresh fruit followed by full English - traditional farmhouse breakfast perfectly prepared by our hosts. Well... More

We stayed in Canaston Oaks for a night on our anniversary. The owners, Eleanor and David, were so welcoming and even gave us a card and a bottle of wine on arrival. We booked the 'Ash' room, which was first class, the room was huge with a separate fully fitted kitchen and everything you want for a 5 star experience.... More

To be honest, I've given 5* to other B&Bs but this deserves 5 plus! Stayed only one night with our 2 daughters, but that was enough to demonstrate the quality of this B&B. Our converted barn (Birch) was renovated to the highest standards of comfort, with luxury down to the smallest detail. All the fittings were individual - no B&Q... More

Canaston Oaks is the antidote to Victorian kitsch that seems to characterise so many B&Bs in England and Wales. Here, not a hint of wallpaper or frilled lampshades, everything is modern luxury: king-size beds, fluffly towels, huge bathrooms with lovely fittings, flatscreen TVs and DVD players with a DVD collection, honesty bar and last but not least, a truly fantastic... Isin't it so wonderful to discover a gem! Half of you would like to keep it a secret because you don't want the enjoyment to be spoiled, but really you want to share 'the treasure' so that others can experience a beautiful find and nod in agreement "Wow!" David and Eleanor you are doing a fantastic job. We will be... More
