Picked this hotel as it was en route, but felt a little worried when entering as a few men congrigated outside smoking, and didn't want to be seen as a lone female entering the hotel (despite being across from a police station). Received a warm Scottish welcome, even though it was gone midnight. Comfortable room. Shame they don't do free Wifi, but if you're lucky you might be able to pick up a free signal from the fast food neighbour. More

Nothing to fault the hotel itself, room was clean and tidy. Billboard outside stated 'rooms from £29' however apparently this only applies if a/ booked via internet and b/ booked at least 21 days in advance and c/ if head office has allocated rooms at this price. very friendly staff couldnt find nicer staff any other hotel ive stayed at. Rooms a bit dated but receptionist did say refurbishment in October. Will be checking it out again then nice central location and nice food next door in the beefeater. More

Very convenient location for car travellers. Rooms show signs of usage but beds are comfortable. Reception area is cramped but staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant is convenient and food quality is good. An overall good value for budget traveller. More
