This was an excellent B&B. Very home-like. Beautiful setting. Very near Kyle of Lochalsh and access to the island of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle etc. Just north of Kyle and a few miles south of the village of Plockton, where Hamish MacBeth episodes were filmed. The road to Plockton was a bit rough - but worth the drive. More

Well, by email Murdo seemed a bit cheeky. In person he's very cheeky. MaryAnn was the BEST hostess. We found we would rather stay and chat with Murdo than go sightseeing. This place is a treasure - we loved it. Just what a B&B should be like. Yes, the rooms were adequate, but that didn't matter as it is made... More

I soon realised after selecting Murdo and Mary Anne's place for a nights stay in september this was a lot more than a B&B. This is like visting long lost friends, who open their home to you and make you feel at home instantly. The stunning view is an obvious attraction with the lounge windows framing the ever changing landscape... More

Murdo, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Views from the bedroom and the lounge are breathtaking and during breakfast we were able to watch seals swimming in the sea. More

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 2 nights this August. Our room was comfortable, and elegantly decorated. We booked it with shared bathroom, which like the room, was always spotessly clean.. Breakfast was great! choosing from 4 options if I´m not wrong, so complete! we went for the less light one ;) sausages, eggs, etc (tired of the continental... More

We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights in July. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the B&B itself has wonderful views looking over the water towards Skye. From the dining room, we spotted some seals in the water, and deer that were regularly around the garden. Our room was clean & comfortable, and the B&B has a... More

Stayed at the Matheson home for one night with our kids, couldn't have had a better B&B to stay in. Very clean and well presented, the best view from a living room window I have ever seen, breathtaking!! The view of Skye changes by the minute sitting at the window or in the front garden. Very lovely couple and would... More

First, the qualification! We realise that we are rare in spending 11 nights on the trot at a B and B, but when we land, we like to stay. When you visit Scotland you have to cater for all weathers and this means you have to take quite a bit of stuff. The rooms are cosy, which is a polite... More

This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The hosts Mary Anne & Murdo made us feel so at home. The rooms were immaculate. The View across the Loch stunning and Murdo is such a character that he should be on TV. His humour & Mary Annes breakfast made mornings the first real treat of the... More
