We had been travelling from early on the day and when we reached Manchester we got a tram which left us off directly behind the hotel. It was only 11 am and we couldn't check in but the recepionist was very helpfull and let us leave our bags behind the counter. We also had an Old Trafford tour booked so... more

My partner and I went to Manchester for four days and stayed at this hotel and thought it was absolutely perfect. Our main reasons for going were for the Old Trafford stadium and museum and tour, and of course- Shopping! The hotel is literally a 5-10 minute walk from Old Trafford and a 15 minute bus journey to the Arndale... more

I was unfortunate enough to be billeted here by a client for two nights whilst attending a meeting at a nearby firm. I checked in around 8pm after a day's travel and a few hours work and, swealtering in the heat, I asked where the bar was. I was told that the bar din't open until 10pm. Not even for... more

TV reception a bit iffy but never really watched it. Carpark attendant very entertaining. LCCC venue walking distance. Shower a bit dodgy but adequate. Staff always helpful. Hotel does not do food but... more

Karen & a young man (Man City Supporter) Advice given where to eat as food was not being cooked in the evenings while we were there. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed well looked after again by... more

This is the worst hotel ever!!!!! To start with we could not watch the tv and no reception and when we asked at reception we were told there was nothing that they could do about it. Then a shelf in the bathroom broke and a glass tumbler was on the shelf and smashed on the floor. My husbands foot was... more

Hotel itself is very old but clean and the staff are very helpfull but if you want to go for a dirty weekend its the place to go as we had no hot water for the 3 days that we were their and you can't watch the TV as the picture keeps rolling. Breakfast not worth £6.00 but edible. Also... more
