I stayed at the Iwamurasanso for one night in April 2013 with my extended family.
The hotel is a very traditional older style inn. It was interesting enough that we wandered around, just enjoying the construction of the building.
Rooms were small, but very clean. Bathroom and toilets were separate to the rooms, which was less welcome.
