“Very good option near Periyar”

The Elephant Court is a fairly majestic property in the back streets of Kumily, and is only about 1km from Thekkady where the Periyar wildlife reserve is located. The bungalow style rooms surround an infinity pool, with comfortable beds, plenty of space and good amenities. They have attractive balcony verandahs. “OK place, but too much concrete and no alcohol licence”

We stayed here for 3 nights, and to be honest all we did was sleep here. The best bit of the hotel is the reception area, which is quite impressive. The room was perfectly fine, clean and tidy.
