Stayed at the Prashanth for one night in December to break the journey to Bidar. We hadn't pre-booked anywhere and several hotels that we tried were full. Found the Prashanth that had rooms available so had to take one of them. The double room was 450R per night, not very clean and very noisy due to the proximity of the railway station. There was a board in reception that gave details of train times, we counted that no less than 16 trains would stop between midnight and 6.30am plus I don't know how many passing through trains! Barking dogs were also a problem. The hotel is down a small alleyway that also houses a couple of bars, men were hanging around outside. The staff were friendly but couldn't provide a bucket of hot water for a shower in the evening. Not somewhere that I would go back to but we were glad of somewhere to stay at the time!
