I ate with family at the Lion over the Jubilee weekend. The staff were very friendly and chatty. The food was good, didn't wait too long, decent portion sizes and all was hot. Excellent value, £9.95 for 2 courses. The vegetables were to die for, the best carrots and peas I've had for ages.

Excellent food, frendly staf, superb value for money. Defiantly would go back and have the pork rost dinner agien :-D

Very warm welcome from the owners, staff was A+++. Our room was spotless and plenty of room, a nice big bed! (Very comfy) Justed like home from home. You must try there food, talk about huge portions there not for the faint hearted!!!! Will stay again defo............

A great find, slightly off the beaten track for the Ironbbridge Gorge museums, but close to the Pipeworks Museum (clay pipes) [check opening times] This is a typical midlands hotel. A warm welcome, family run, friendly, decent food, huge portions, comfy beds and peaceful. Tinned tomatoes were a surprise at breakfast - I;d forgotten we were in the midlands!
