We spent 2 nights here, the hotel was lovely and relaxing but room felt dungeon. Staff were very helpful. Ate in for dinner as did not like the idea of walking back from township after dark. Meals were good but rather expensive

Our group of 4 stayed at the hotel Belvedere for 2 nights in early Sept. We had stayed the previous 4 nights in Montorossa. The hotel decor is quirky but our main disappointment was our very small, depressing, dark, cramped room with a view of 2 deck chairs outside on a gravel area at eye height. Self harm was an issue navigating...

Bonassola is a wonderful access point to The Cinque Terre and you get the benefits without the hassles of being too touristy. The hotel is high on the hill with views of the ocean from terraces. The walk back to the hotel is strenuous but it helps to work off the calories from the delicious food and gelato in the...

We stayed at the Hotel last month for just a few days and we loved it. Its the best Hotel we have stayed in for many years and would go back next week if we could. From the Auotpista it is an easy drive to the village of Bonassola and then the Hotel is found on the right as you...

We stayed for only 2 days at this gem, and wish we had a month! My family of 4 stayed in the "quad room" with sea view, and though it was a little tight and the bathroom a bit small, the beds were great, (one queen and two twins) the view fantastic, and the grounds and terraced areas were fabulous....

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Villa Belvedere. Our room was very nice, and large enough for my husband and I, and our twenty year old daughter. We had a fantastic view of the sea, and enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the beautiful sunsets each evening. The hotel was clean, and the service was great. Meals in...

This is a wonderful small hotel overlooking the town. Perched in the hills, the rooms are smallish but spotless and pretty, the view is gorgeous, the food wonderful and the service is great. Best deal in the area.

We have really mixed feelings about Bonassola and this hotel.
In some respects, Bonassola is well-located for exploring both the Cinque Terre to the west and the Santa Margherita/Portofino area to the east. The exception to this is that not all trains stop in Bonassola, so you have to pay particular attention to the train schedule. You might be better...

OK, the hill up to the hotel is steep and the steps are long, but I had my knee replaced 2 months before our stay and I managed it, and the climb to the room. It is such a gem of a place, quiet, with a lovely terrace on which to sip a beverage and watch the sunset, perhaps chat...

Bonassola is a small and charming village just next to the Chinque Terre. Compared to the crowded and sometimes noisy Cinque Terre coast, Bonassola is a place to relax and enjoy the tranquillity and beauty not only of the sea, but also of the lovely hills in which the village is scenicly embeded.
The Hotel Belvedere calls itself "Hotel de...
