There are really not enough words to explain how truly wonderful it has been staying at the Sussex Prairies. Everything is exceptional the only way I could possibly describe it has to be THE most wonderful place we have ever stayed in. You will leave here absolutely refreshed, rested and with a great sense of peace as everything to make... More

This was a heart warming review of one couple's stay with us over the Easter weekend , when we had lambs being born every day and Belgian visitors a-plenty . It was so kind and thoughtful of you to take the time to write such a lovely review. We look forward to welcoming you back again to stay with us... More

Providing holiday accommodation ourselves and having spent many years in the travel industry, my partner and I have just returned from a glorious 2 night stay. How rare an encounter it is - to stay with people who genuinely 'make the stay' - by being the people they are - whilst at the same time offering perfection in their delivery... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of November and it was brilliant. The room was lovely, really comfy bed, amaaaaaaazing bathroom with jungle shower and (3 couses of) breakfast and coffee were the best I have ever had. Pauline even made gluten free cake for me for when we arrived. The b&b is in a beautiful setting,... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights - what a wonderful find! From the moment we were greeted by Pauline we felt at home. She soon had us seated in the beautiful garden, eating homemade cake. Always a winner! The room (red room) was perfect and the breakfast was fantastic - particularly as all of the produce was... More

It was such a pleasure having you both to stay ! and we were really grateful for your invaluable help in the sheep herding bit ! never a dull moment at sussex prairies . My friends and I just returned from a wonderful tour of gardens in Southern England and Sussex Prairies was one of the highlights. This recently built B&B is run by Paul and Pauline McBride, experienced landscape gardeners and designers. They built this house on Pauline's childhood farm and it was the nicest place we stayed our entire trip. But the... More

We were privilidged to have stayed in such a comfortable and relaxing home. My husband had been learning to paraglide on Devils Dyke, we ate a superb meal in a local pub recommended by Pauline and then retired into the luxury that is Sussex Prairies B&B. The room was beautifully furnished and appointed and offered everything that we could have... More

We booked this stay to coincide with dinner on the Golden Arrow (Bluebell Railway). As the other reviews state, the accommodation is very comfortable and the gardens are simply breathtaking!! From the moment you arrive, you begin to relax and forget about your cares.... So many things to praise - the location (close enough to Brighton to meet friends for... More

Paul & Pauline have created an idyllic haven in Sussex that rivals any bed & breakfast in the country! Not only have you the choice of three exceptionally comfortable bedrooms, but the breakfast beats anything that a five star hotel could provide. On top of that, you are sitting with a view of natural floral beauty on the doorstep. The... More

We stayed last night after going to the opera at Glyndebourne at Sussex Prairies and were delighted by everything about it. The rooms are decorated with real flair by Pauline and Paul, who could not be more welcoming, and the garden is extraordinary, and the breakfasts fresh, home-produced and generous - I didn't need to eat anything else for the...
