We were lucky enough to spend 2 nights with Claire at Roxbro House. The quality and hospitality are second to none. I came up here with my girlfriend and was blown away by the warm welcome, the quality of the rooms and bathrooms, and the excellent free lemon-drizzle cake. Huge beds, very spacious and clean bathrooms and all -told felt like the place was far better than any modern hotel chain.

We had a lovely stay here, and were given a very warm and friendly welcome. Only stayed for one night, we stayed in the Owners suite, lovely room with a bath in the corner, amazing bathroom with old fashioned fittings, great service and breakfast, the complimentary treats were a nice touch but not good for the diet ! will return at some point for a longer stay
