Points of Interest

1. Parking Lot

You will need a Northwest Forest Pass to park here. Start off on the trail heading up into the woods from the lot.

2. Rooster Rock

When you approach this massive rock outcropping you'll be amazed at the size of it. If you rock climb I believe there are a couple routes up it. Don't even attempt to scale it unless you do rock climb and have the correct gear and experience.

3. Viewpoint to the Sisters

From this location you'll have a few spots to view the Sisters in the distance.

4. Junction

Take the other trail down for a longer loop hike and views back towards Rooster Rock or descend back the way you came up. The loop option simply provides a nice change of scenery and more exercise.

5. View Back at Rosster Rock

While descending keep an eye out through the trees of glimpses back at where you just came from.

6. Walk Back

Unfortunately, you'll need to walk several miles back along highway 20 to get back to your vehicle. Be safe and walk on the side of the road going far away from the traffic.
