The Trail head is located a few miles from the village of Mount Baldy. An Adventure Pass is required for parking and is available from the Ranger Station at Mount Baldy Village. Park just off the road at the Manker's Flat Camp Ground. You will find the access road which leads to the trail head on the left side of the Mt Baldy Road as you face uphill. The road is not accessible by vehicle and is a private road, but you are allowed to walk it.
The trail Head can be a difficult place to find. Easiest way is to find it to use the Every Trail App and follow the track. Otherwise follow these directions; follow the fire road to the vista point where you see the water fall, continue on the road where it does a 180 degree turn and turns to dirt. Go to the top of the slope till the road turns left. From the turn, keep a close eye on the left side of the road, about 200 feet of so, you will see the trail. It goes up a steep slope about 25 feet, then switched back to the left. About 40 feet more and you will find the sign in box. Be sure to sign in. less «
