Wildflowers make Black Mountain particularly beautiful during spring through to early summer. There are many trails of various levels. Once you have taken a quick walk why not pop up the Tower to lookout over Canberra.

  • 3. Australian National Botanic Gardens
Australian National Botanic Gardens, Canberra, Greater Canberra

Devoted entirely to plants native to Australia, the Botanic Gardens are a delight to explore. Enjoy lunch or afternoon tea at the resturant or bring your own picnic to make the day complete.

  • 4. Rama's Fiji-Indian Restaurant

Found in Pearce, Rama's is by far one of the best Indian Restaurants in Canberra. While not in the city the trip is definity worth it. While the location is nothing special the food is to die for. Just make sure that you book a table as the place does fill up.
