  • 1. Polynesian Cultural Center "Ha-Breath of Life" Evening Show
    Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie, Oahu

The "Ha-Breath of Life" show has a cast of over 100 dancers and musicians making it the largest Polynesian show in the world. I also think it may be the longest running musical in the world, running 42 years straight. The names of the shows have changed over the years, but the content and some of the music hasn't. It showcases the music and dance of 6 Polynesian cultures: Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, New Zealand and Tahiti.

  • 2. Alii Luau At The Polynesian Cultural Center
Alii Luau At The Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie, Oahu

Due to the demand, PCC offers 3 different Alii Luau venues. During the busy seasons, the luaus normally are sold out. Be sure to book tickets in advance. I have experienced a few embarrassing moments when my friends came from the mainland to go to the luau, and discovered that the luaus had all been sold out. They were able to have another buffet which is offered at 2 other restaurants at PCC. The Hale Aloha venue was once used by Elvis Presley during the last 5 minutes of the movie called "Paradise Hawaiian Style".

  • 3. Polynesian Cultural Center IMAX Theater
    Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie, Oahu

PCC has the only IMAX theater in the islands. They show some great IMAX fillms about the ocean such as "Coral Reef" and the "Living Sea". PCC had their own IMAX movie produced which was called "Polynesian Odyssey:.

  • 4. Polynesian Cultural Center Samoan Village
    Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie, Oahu

The Samoan village offers a hilarious presentation about coconuts that you will never forget. Be sure to take a video camera. The coconut tree climbers are awesome. The Guiness Book of World Records did a documentary of some of the PCC coconut tree climbers here.

  • 5. Polynesian Cultural Center

As far as I know, this is the only South Pacific canoe pageant of its kind. It's an original way to experience the songs and dances of Polynesia. You can see PCC's lagoon in Elvis Presley's movie "Paradise Hawaiian Style."
