Where to stay, eat and what to do in Napa.
Great hotel; wonderful service. Breakfast was also wonderful!
Ok. In the Napa River Inn. Good location if staying in the hotel.
Near the Napa River Inn. Wonderful food!
Great place to stop and have a good sandwich (or get one to go) while on the roads of Napa Valley.
Good food - we had a brick oven pizza with smoked chicken, fig and mozz. cheese. It was wonderful!!
We ate here on a recommendation. We wanted to eat at Mustard's Grill, but they were booked. Turns out that they are owned by the same "Cindy." Good food. Since I had a big dinner the night before, I opted for a burger - it was wonderful! My husband got some tamale special that was incredible!
Wonderful winery. $30 tour/tasting. The entire process is in caves. The grapes go in and don't come out until the wine is bottled and ready to sell. There was also a small waterfall and river within the caves!
Neat, free tour. They try to be organic. Had a nice garden where you can pick veggies. Really enjoyed this one. Wine was ok.
Our new favorite wine! Joined their wine club. Tour/taste $20. Most informative tour of the trip. Joe was great!! Got to do a barrel taste in the caves. Brought home 2 bottles and, after 4 days, I'm going online to buy more!
Near the Rutherford Grill, this small house does tastings of their wines. They are wonderful! We didn't try one that we didn't like. Found it to be better than Duckhorn (at about 1/2 the cost). Ordered 6 bottles to be shipped. We stopped by because the traffic was so bad on 29 and the Olive Oil place was closed. A very lucky find!
Disappointing. Pretty area - not impressed w/the wine or the rude people who were working at the counter. Interacted with 3 different people during our tasting (which wasn't free) and they acted as if they were doing us a huge favor by allowing us to be in their presence. We left after 3 of the 5 tastes.
