Adventures to go on in Aruba

  • 1. Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive
Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive, Oranjestad, Aruba
    CHECK RATES!
    Avg price: $534

We stayed here for the week in a honeymoon suite. We couldn't have been happier. We were on the bottom floor with a sliding glass door that went out to a patio, 10 ft of grass, a 3 foot boardwalk and then you hit the sand! Food and service were excellent. You had rights to the Divi too, but we didn't go over much because we loved Tamarijn so much. Paparazzi Italian Restaurant at the resort was fantastic.

  • 2. California Lighthouse
California Lighthouse, Palm - Eagle Beach, Aruba

Working lighthouse on the North west corner of the island. Easy to get to. We went during the day, and realized the sunsets would be beautiful, so we drove back up in the evening to watch the sunset.

  • 3. ABC Tours & Attractions
ABC Tours & Attractions, Inc., Oranjestad, Aruba

We took the half day tour on defender 90's (even though they call them jeeps) to the Natural Pool (Conchi), Fontien Bat Caves, Gold Mine Ruins, and Jamanota the highest point. This trip was awesome. Try to get Gabriel as your tour guide. He was very knowledgable, and could answer our additional questions.

  • 4. Natural Bridge
    Natural Bridge, Aruba, Caribbean

You can get there by car. (We had a Yaris) This was worth the trip. The largest one fell in 2005, but a smaller and just a beautiful one still stands right next to it.

  • 5. Baby Beach
    Baby Beach, San Nicolas, Aruba

This was a little harder to find, partially due to the detours from all the road work being done. However, we still drove there. Bring your snorkel gear! There was plenty of fish to see here on the coral.

  • 6. Rent A Car!

We rented a car from Budget Rental at the airport. The island is easy to navigate. I highly recommend getting your own car to go exploring. The island is about 20 miles long by 8 miles wide, and almost all attractions can be seen by car.

  • 7. Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations
Ayo and Casibari Rock Formations, Aruba, Caribbean

We accessed these by car. Definetly interesting to see.

  • 8. Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins
Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Aruba, Caribbean

Accessed this by car too. Gold Mill is located on the coast. We also saw this on the 'jeep' tour, and Garbriel had a lot of information to share about this you wouldn't get going on your own.
