"It's one of those sacred places of Shirdi where baba spent most of his days. Previously it was a mosque which was in dilapidated condition. Baba moved in during his later years and started staying here. The holy place is close to Gate 3 and next to Baba's Chavadi. You will again have to bear long qu..."eues to enter Dwarakamayi. Should take around 30 minutes. Best time to visit is during the night post 11 AM when you can sit in peace. Do not miss to look at the Dhuni (Fire place) which people say has been burning ever from the days of Baba. It's one of those symbols of Baba's eternal existence.

"The Museum is right at the centre of the temple complex. Can be approached by any gates but near to Gate 3 and Gate 4. It's behind the Shani temple and neat to the neem tree.
The museum houses various articles used by Baba himself. Range of items include his personal clothing, slippers, chillums, c..."ooking pots, overcoats etc. The museum also has various sketches, pictures and paintings from old times depicting the life of Baba. It also houses various gifts baba received during his time. A must visit place if you want to learn more of Baba's life and learn from his simplicity.
Few things that could be improved:
1. The museum should have captured baba's journey of life through a series of paintings.
2. Items could have been arranged in a chronological order to weave a time line around the artifacts
3. Storyboards in multiple languages would help.

"You will always get this sense of satisfaction and a nice feeling when you visit here. It does not give you a commercial look the way Tirupati temple is managed (Money for everything you do). The temple complex still retains that old charm though the crowd has swelled in multiples.
Try going for the..." aarti. Preferably Kakad aarti or Shej aarti. You get to stand there for more than 30 minutes and listen to Kirtans of the lord with music. What an environment it creates!!! All singing aloud and in tune. Weekends and Thursdays are busy and hence travel on other days.
