"The walk along the woodland track to the falls was very interesting with lots of flying wildlife to look at. The falls were very full of water on our visit which made the experience even more exciting. Going back to the car park, it was time to take a snack/drinks break before continuing on our jour..."ney.

"Love this place. Great for a long walk, see the peregrine falcons when they're nesting, stunning waterfalls. The main building and old shops are also worth a look"
"After an overnIght in the New lanark hotel which incidentlly allows you to let your dog stay over for the princley sum of £5 ,We decided to go for an early morning walk .As you walk out of the hotel take a right turn and follow the path past the mill and onto a red ash track .At around 7 am the plce..." is very peaceful and beautiful .As we walked for 10 minutes or so the birds and animals we saw and heard was amazing firstly a large male otter entering the water and through the trees at the other end of the river a small Roe deer then as we approached the falls of Clyde there was a Heron fishing .If you are ever in this part of the world the falls are a must see as we rounded the final bend after a 20 minute stroll we could hear the rush and roar of the water cascading down and it was well worth seeing .MAGIC ,
