  "The road to lakes was a little windy but passable as the snow ploughs had cleared the road. The lakes were surrounded by pure white snow and although very pretty with dark clouds looming we didn't stay too long. Well worth a visit - I'd like to go back in spring when the snow has melted. "

We arrived in time to park quite close and were able to see the museum, church and shrine without too much queuing.
