  "We just got back from the incredible tour of the Chianti region of Italy and I cant express enough how much fun we had. Our driver, Mauricio, was right on time at our apartment in Florence. His van was impeccably clean. During our drive to the olive mill he gave us the history of Florence and the..." Chianti region. Once at the mill we spent two hours learning about the process of growing, harvesting and pressing the olive oil. We had a demonstration as to how to taste the olive oil and what made a good and bad oil. After that it was off to our private tour of a vineyard that has been in the owners family since the 1700's. The private tasting in the owners private cellar was incredible. There were about 30,000 bottles in there some dating back to the 1940's. Our lunch was prepared by the owners wife and washed down by a bottle of the Reserve wine. We stopped at the castle summer home of Amerigo Vespucci on the way back to Florence.
