Tom specialises in contemporary kitchen ware. Myfanwy Griffiths, having graduated with a first class degree in Fashion and Textiles in 2008. set herself up in business as a textle designer, specialising in textile jewellery and home wares. Tom and Myfanwy metover 2 years ago, and have since exhibited at many shows together, and collaborated on several projects together. "Pethau Melys" is their new and exiting joint venture; selling teas and home made cakes and also a selection of local crafts, including their own, which has been made on site. Based in the old Harbour in Portmadoc, the shop has a very much vintage feel. Tea is served in vintage china, and the work is displayed on vintage french apple crates. All the furniture has been sourced from auctions, sales, and second-hand shops, it is then re-furbished, and available to purchase in the shop. « less
