We turned up at Nottingham Racecourse, at the rear of the course, near the hotel, this is not clear in the instructions. We were one of the first there so had to wait for a while for the rest of the passengers to arrive. They gave us a briefing and then went over to the centre of the course where we all helped unload and set up the balloon, this included dragging the basket off the trailer, rolling out the balloon and then helping to inflate it.   "Had my flight bought for me as a Birthday treat, my partner knew i always wanted to fly by Balloon but i have a major fear of heights and of flying so never risked booking a trip. She still went ahead and booked tickets for us both a year ago. I kept putting the flight off always with a good reason ..."but as time went by this didn't wash anymore. We decided to make a weekend of it and book into a hotel for a couple of nights with the Balloon flight on the 20/5/2013 Monday morning. I kept hearing of people that have had their flight cancelled time after time so i felt safe it was going to be cancelled too. Sunday night we had to contact the flight line to see if it had been cancelled, alas no its still on but the take off site had been changed, still time to get cancelled. We arrived at the new take off site on time and was met by our Pilot Pete. Very nice chap, good sense of humor.   "Good course and can be forgiving compared to others in the area. Very peaceful and scenic with a good driving range, excellent club house and a nice place to be. The food is simple but well prepared and inexpensive. I would recommend it as a venue to if possible for a party etc."
