"Has a bike/walking path along the creek with numerous benches, a community pool, nice little league baseball field, tennis courts, and a duck pond. A few picnic tables and playground. Lots of concerts during the summer and early fall at the small bandshell/amphitheatre. Bring a blanket and a fris..."bee.

"We enjoy this small A league baseball stadium right off the main drag in Frederick. Has decent concession food and beverages, seat backs on the bleachers, and a nice carousel for the kids."
"Really never thought about surviving the winter until you see a root cellar that had to store food for the family for 5 months. Or beams that are 40' long because they had trees big enough to make a 10x10 that long. If this stuff and the history of the families that lived there interest you. ..." You should go. Nice guys telling the stories and nice gift shop.
