It was a smooth ride, his commentary interesting and relevant. We had showedup as the first participants for this helicopter tri..."p- but did not get the two prime seats in the helicopter- there was no explanation on what basis hte seats were assigned- weight couldnot have been the reason as we were all around the same weight. The trips are not cheap- over 200 USD per person for 20 minutes. After the tour we had the possibility to buy pictures taken of us in front of the helicopter for 20 Dollars. This is rediculous considering the cost of repoducing digital pictures- not to mention an electronic version to one's e-mail address. We really felt we were being ripped off.   "What a wonderful tour company!! Our driver, Don, was a terrific driver and native of Maui, who really made the trip one of the best ever!! He had a great sense of humor, and cared about each one of us. He spent time telling local stories and pointed out everything along the way. The Mercedes van..."s hold eight couples, just right, lots of stops along the way with wonderful frest fruit and bakery rolls, just a bit down the road from where we started, overlooking the beautiful Pacific. A cooler filled with water and local Hawaiian juices, too, along with other snacks during the full day trip.. We spent time at many picture stops: waterfalls, black beaches, and cave swimming holes. Lunch was delicious which our driver Don took us to the State Park in Hana to eat and enjoy a swim in the cave pool. It is so beautiful to look down on all the waterfalls and the ocean as well, sometimes you will be able to see Whales. Nice group we were with, but I feel bad when people are in the back as far as taking pictures. They have great merchandise to purchase as well in the terminal such as caps and tee shirts.
