- crabbysandyLakewood, OH160 contributionsWhat a great vibe this place has! Beautiful waterfall and river view at the outdoor seating. Indoors pretty interesting, part of an old mill. Husband really liked the beers he had. I had the NA blond root beer that is made in-house, and I so wish they would bottle this stuff! Light, not the syrupy stuff you usually have. Enjoyed ourselves so much we visited a 2nd time during our short stay.Written 11 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - burns41McDonough GA171 contributionsWe had never in our lives heard of Cedarburg and went solely for the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts. What a surprise! A friendly and quaint little town with lots of history. The small museum did not disappoint. We learned a lot, and Executive Director Joel is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Cedarburg.Written 15 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - burns41McDonough GA171 contributionsWonderful small museum that constantly changes its exhibits. While there were a small number of quilts on display, they were beautiful and interesting, well curated and described. The volunteer staffing that day was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and helpful.Written 15 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mschattsOak Park, IL4 contributionsWe took this bike trail from Port Washington to Cedarburg. We started at the Port Wisconsin Hotel, the trail was right outside the door and it was 11 miles to Cedarburg.
Cedarburg is a cute town with lots of shops and ice cream and food. We didn't have much time to explore because I was having trouble with my bike. We biked 2 miles to Cedar Creek Outdoors bike shop where they fixed my bike for free, right before close.
We headed back to Port Washington stopping in Grafton. We dined at the Milwaukee Ale House, amazing food and service. And then back to our hotel. I highly recommend this trail and the little towns on its path. I want to come back and do more of the trail. It goes from Sheboygan to Milwaukee.Written 9 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a beautiful day in September, and I walked the little loop trail from the parking lot to and through the historical covered bridge. The bridge crosses over Cedar Creek, and the County has made a lovely park in the surroundings. In fact, there is another pedestrian bridge crossing the creek in the loop trail. This is a nice park for a picnic, otherwise, it would be a pretty short but still nice visit.Written 28 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bgcchick88Baraboo, WI80 contributionsMy husband and I stopped in for a tasting and each left with a bottle! We weren't sure what to expect with this location, but the wines were better than we could have guessed! The owner is very hands on. The owner and employees are all super nice. The only negative was just a lot of shop talk between the owner and employees regarding scheduling. Things that could have been discussed quieter or at least not in front of people sampling.
We would definitely go back and try more!Written 11 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is a large space dedicated to local artisans, with a friendly staff to answer any questions. Free to wander around.Written 30 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- wragaeyCedarburg, WI3 contributionsVery artistic boutique Museum with lots of cool arts. The lower floor shows an interesting type of paintings where there is a stipulation of having to draw a place 1 mile from where you live.
Will surely go back.Written 17 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My boyfriend, our pup Guinness & I enjoyed their small dog-friendly patio while we tasted some delightful spirits. While I’ve never been a gin drinker, theirs are wonderful- the bottle-aged gin was so delicious and smooth! We also really loved their bourbons & whiskeys. We brought home some bottle-aged gin and small batch bourbon to continue enjoying at home. The inside space is beautifully designed, and the owners made us feel so incredibly welcome- we really loved talking with them, it’s clear that this is their passion and they love sharing with their guests. Can’t wait to go back!Written 25 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Pioneer8171344 contributionsThis museum is well done and an excellent visit. If you have any interest in Cedarburg history this is a must-stop.
The Executive Director, Joel Willems, is extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area and takes great pride in the museum. The displays are well done and the museum is not cluttered.
The information in the museum was extremely interesting to our family as we investigated family heritage information. But the layout and materials in the museum are not overwhelming.
This is well-worth a 1/2hour + stop. As an added bonus, the museum is located in the central business district, close to shops and restaurants.Written 28 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The shop sells jewelry, carved rocks, polished rocks, plus other items
My favorite items are their huge selection of rough rock, which I make into jewelry.Written 26 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
