The combined dining/family room has a table for 6, sofa and chairs upholstered in a woodsy pattern, and a fireplace with free wood for the first night. The bath contains a roomy shower and a nice set of built-in shelves for personal items. There are rocking chairs on the porch and a grill and picnic table for cook-outs. Best of all, the cabins are pet-friendly. Though there is a per pet per day fee, we find it more economical and more fun than leaving our 2 dogs in a kennel.   "Reserved a covered picnic area for a birthday party. About 100 people. Area was clean & the park is always well groomed. Lots of trails to investigate. Open fields for playing ball or volleyball (if you bring your own equipment)."
