"On a recent trip to the Charlottesville area, my husband and I visited 6 or 7 vineyards throughout a five day trip. This one was one of our favorites for several reasons. First, we both loved the wine. We are both wine drinkers and love to try new ones. We both found almost every wine we sampled del..."icious. It was hard to decide which ones to buy. Of course, all of this is purely my personal opinion…with wine, you just cannot please everyone, but we loved it. Second, we experienced great service here on our wine tasting, with a nice young lady who told us all about their wine. Third, there is nothing pretentious about this place. I loved the setting (a renovated barn) and the staff is friendly, nice, helpful, and laid back. Lastly, the wine is so very affordable. After visiting vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, and parts of France, it was incredibly refreshing to be at a place that was laid back with delicious wine and on top of it all…affordable!

"I love Champion. I have been going here almost weekly since they opened up this past Fall. Hunter is one who does not settle on just 4-5 beers and lets them stay on tap but he is always trying new styles and beers to rotate. Of course they have their staple Missle IPA, Killer Kolsch, and Porter but C..."hampion routine debuts 1-2 new beers each month to keep their 5-6 lines with new beers. The building is unassuming but when you walk in the door, you are greeted by a punch of malts to the face! The inside is simple but really cool. Drew is a great bartender. Champion does not serve food but they welcome you to bring your own, allow you to receive delivery, and food trucks are parked out front routinely Wed - Sat each week. The food truck scene is up & coming in C'Ville. Champion does a great job giving each truck the opportunity to serve.
The beer is fantastic and the people you meet are great. Champion is a wonderful addition to the hot craft brewery destination that Charlottesville is...

"Whether you're a local to the area or just visiting, a balloon flight is something everyone should experience!!! It is not uncommon during the early morning or evenings at certain times of the year to see balloons flying high over Charlottesville. It was AWESOME to be that person IN the balloon!!!..." All the pilots in the area are a tight-knit group which made the experience even better. The day we flew, Mandy launched with two other pilots. It was so neat to see not just one, not just two, but THREE balloons setting up and then launch!! It made for great pictures taken from the air as well to have other balloons in my scenery shots! You can really tell that Mandy loves what she does and was enjoying the flight as much as we were!! I realize some people are afraid of heights but DO NOT let that stop you!! Keep in mind that the actual flight time is only part of the experience however every minute is packed with excitement and truly enjoyable!! There is getting picked up, traveli...
