"I was a little worried about taking my kids (3 and 6) to a baseball game in the summer. But I have to say, the Skeeters did everything right. All the seats had a great view of the field - it's a very "intimate" park. The whole back section of center field is all for the kids - a water play area, hug..."e climbing area, carousel, playground for toddlers -- all set close enough to where you can watch your kids AND the game. So we watched a few innings, then went exploring, then came back for the last couple. It was a perfect family night out and the kids loved it. "Good outdoor fun. Typical concessions. Love the picnic area, water park, and carousel for the kids. Don't have to be a big baseball fan here, just a fun way to spend the evening. I especially love the Texas-sized marquee. They sometimes have fireworks to finish off the night! Great venue for family ..."and friends.

The food is typical with the basic hot dogs, sodas and beer. But, since we're in my home state of Texas, we add in BBQ, sausage-on-a-stick and Tex-Mex. I hope they add more of a choice for this coming baseball season; therefore, the 4-star rating.
The staff is friendly and courteous.
And, so far, parking is free for most events!
Since, we were taking about Texas, it does get hella hot. When the stadium was in it infancy, you had to tolerate it in all areas. But, once the season was ending, they had Big [--] Fans--yes, believe or not, this happens to be real company who specializes in industrial fans--installed at 4 majo...
