With all 42 Presidents sculpted busts standing ten-time life size in a lavish Black Hills Garden on a nature trail complete with Presidents history and biographical information. Artist David Adickes sculpted the huge busts of all 42 presidents of the United States over the last five years and transported them to Deer Mountain near Lead and Deadwood, South Dakota between Mount Rushmore and Devils Tower Wyoming. The Presidents Park sculpture garden is 20 acres of beautiful, mountain meadows with towering Ponderosa pines and wild flowers. A gentle trail meanders through the trees and is bordered by the monumental busts. Beside each bust is a panel with biographical and other relevant information pertaining to that President. A large, chalet-styled visitors center contains a gift shop, Cafe D'Artiste, with a light gourmet menu, and a Starbucks Coffee House. Also available in the center are books, history & articles of relevance to the presidents. Other art objects are also on display. And an educational center is planned in the near future.
Our full service VISITORS CENTER opens June 1, 2002 with local Music, Art Exhibits and Starbucks Specials.

"We had no problem getting in contact with Andy and booking a two hour session. Obviously the man does a sterling job, looking after 20 horses and running a top notch establishment. I had no riding experience what so ever before going, and the hole trip was well within my comfort zone. Andy is very k..."nowledgeable and helpful, and he put me on a nice calm horse. We rode off through the woods. No walking tracks, paths, forest roads, just straight off through the bush. This to me was the best part. Breaking your own trail and going where ever you and the horse are capable of getting. This is what separates Andy from the rest. He told us it makes you a better and more confident rider quicker, and he wasn't lying. Before the end of the ride we did a few slightly uphill quick dashes to really get a feel of what the horse is capable of doing. The horse probably only opened up to maybe 20-30%, but for a first time rider, it felt like 130%. Really getting the feel of the horse getting into its st...
