What travellers are saying
- walkerbobKent, OH337 contributionsPretty park with a variety of spaces, ranging from lawns, woods, small ponds, etc. Mid October probably didn't showcase it as well as other times since there weren't many flowers and the leaves hadn't turned yet. Still, it's a nice place to visit and is probably spectacular at certain times of the year!Written 15 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Glen LCocoa, FL25 contributionsThe RV area of the park gives you the option of if you want to be shaded by trees or be more out in the open. All the hook ups were good with gravel pads. Lots of cardinals to view. We had a pull through spot that had plenty of room. The rounded dock at the lake is beautifully constructed with swings, room to fish, and to take a refreshing walk. They have a kayak and boat launch. There is a basketball court, playground, a volleyball net, and lots of areas to have a picnic or get together. We can’t wait to see what improvements they make to this park when they close for renovations. I think the biggest obstacle is getting into the park during the weekend since this is a very popular place. The road leading to the park gets very backed up and it may take some time to get through.Written 1 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie H1 contributionTook my 6 yr old son here for the first time this week and he is already asking when we can go back! It FAR exceeded my expectations as an indoor playground! It is full of imaginative and fun things to do and see and play. It comes complete with a pirate ship they can captain, a tree house and slide to explore, a full play house and kitchen they can bake something yummy in, a garden to plant and harvest veggies, a king & knight & princess dress up throne room, giant Lego table and wooden train set, and more. The attention to detail in this entire place is TOP NOTCH. They have two separate play sessions each day- one in the morning and one after lunch. Each is 2.5 hrs for $6Written 29 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Nyoki N. HashimotoRock Hill, SC9 contributionsWe have visited this park a few times and I’m telling everyone peaceful living is here !! That’s the feeling we both shared being at this beautiful park! Well kept ! Birds singing! Fragrant flowers and trees! Clean bathroom facilities if needed! Great place for children, animals, picnics, family gatherings and just a romantic walk about with your spouse or significant other! Highly recommended!Written 4 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- SouthernSunshineFort Mill, SC286 contributionsOur actual visit date was Feb 2020. It was me and my 8 ur old nephew. We had a blast! For a tiny little county museum it has a lot of stuff. It’s a great place to spend the afternoon.Written 14 March 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Tonya E3 contributionsSuper cute for a birthday party. We had 5 and 6 yr old girls and they enjoyed it all. From dressing up to the fireman pole to checking out the back of an ambulance.Written 28 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bowmanator22Charlotte, NC5,046 contributionsThe woods and the river views were marvelous, especially as the sun was rising. A few decent hills keep the run interesting from a cardio standpoint, though nothing is particularly difficult about this route. And with the high temperatures forecasted to reached nearly 100, I’m glad I started early!Written 14 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lisa SRock Hill, SC199 contributionsOld Town Amphitheater is a great little venue, on a normal day you'd never even know its there. We saw Huey Lewis and The News there, and have a great evening! I think they should have concerts in the Fall, when it cooler temperatures!Written 18 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - debracbellRock Hill, SC9 contributionsA great place to take the family on Friday night even if you don't know the racers. Plenty of parking and stadium seating. Lots of room for the kiddos to run off their excess energy.Written 7 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - travelwriter52Clinton, SC3,381 contributionsThis is a building that was donated to the Catawba people by the previous owner. It was formerly a school. Now it is a small museum. Basically one room and a hallway. But it does give some information about the people and their history. There is also a trail down to the river.Written 27 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
