"It just so happens that my friend and I picked the most perfect, end-of-spring day to visit. It's so peaceful--away from all noise. There are many paths on which to wander and an abundance of wildflowers, shrubs and trees to enjoy. Some of the plants are marked. We took a short, guided tour from a k..."nowledgeable guide and then we were left to hike on our own. There are some benches throughout the trails but spotty at best, If you aren't in good shape, be wary of the large roots on some of the trails and the somewhat steeper climb to the top of Bowman's Hill. (We're 60 and didn't have a problem.) I think a hiking pole would be advised for the exposed roots on the trails. Sales of wildflowers were offered near the visitor's center. It was quite a lovely hike. There are small fees ($5.00 and under), but who wouldn't pay $5.00 just to donate for the preservation of wildflowers.

"There is always something for everyone at Rices. Whether you are looking for something new or antique, you will find it here. Just make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes, it is very uneven ground that you will be walking on!"
"We went on a Bucks County winery tour in April, driven by Linda, a warm and friendly host, and great driver. We were joined by two other couples and a bachelorette party. We visited three fantastic wineries, who's staff were all entertaining and knowledgeable. Not having to worry about driving ma..."de this trip so worthwhile in itself, however it was so much more than that. It was funny that the bus was fairly quiet in the beginning of the trip, volume increased when the bachelorette party boarded, and by the end, it was a party bus! The wines we tasted, were delicious, and we came home with a couple of cases. The number of tastings at each vineyard was more than generous as well. (I highly recommend the Sangria from Crossing Vineyards, where we were given a great tip: use frozen fruit as your ice to keep it chilled)
We were truly impressed with this entire experience and highly recommend it. We will absolutely be booking another trip in the near future.
