Most would like to return, to absorb more of the technology and history of the important place of carpet weaving in the town. We had a presentation (3..."0 mins.), coffee, and demonstrations of weaving on a variety of looms. The two largest were awesome in their size, complexity and noise level. We understand that at present they only operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays at noon, so planned visits are worth targeted at these times. Staff, both permanent and volunteer, were helpful and very professional and an unexpected pleasing element was a small shop with a range of quality items.
