We have been conducting tours on the Daintree River since 1987 and run a family operated, one hour river tour from a private jetty. Our boats are small and personalised for a quality experience and our tours focus on wildlife such as snakes and birds, with an emphasis on crocodile spotting. The tour includes commentary about the area and the mangrove ecosystem. We also provide good quality binoculars and complimentary hot and cold beverages.

"This place is not fancy and could do with some renovation. However, the tables are placed around a garden area which is relaxing. The business is up for sale. I was served by a lovely man. All the ice creams are pre packaged in little tubs and cost $5 each. The flavours available are very unique and..." many. So hard to choose.

"Crocs are interesting but what made this evening great (and something I was not intending to see) was long lines of Egrets flying just above the water going to roost just on dusk. It was a great sight something I had not witnessed before. Would recommend going on the evening outing."
"Our intent was to see crocodiles - and we did - large and small. But, to our great pleasure, the serenity of watching egrets glide along the river enroute to their nesting areas, the sunset, tree frogs, bats, and ant purses made our river cruise even better. Dan Irby loves the river and the inform..."ation he gives out is right on. He will tell you as many stories as you want to hear. How peaceful it was to relax in the quiet of the evening and watch nature at its best. Thanks, Dan
