The Cape Verdians are very good looking people, naturally so, who speak Portuguese, Creole, and many speak English. They have a saying 'No stress, No stress..."', and it really is like that. You can surf, kite surf, wind surf, snorkel, fish and go deep sea diving, or just sit on the pier and watch the world go by! I watched the fishermen bring in their huge catches, enjoyed watching local boys riding the waves, with surf boards and skim boards, and local children playing in the water. Their are beach bars and cafes to chill out and watch the sun go down. The vibrant town has coloured buildings, cobbled streets, interesting shops, and a variety of places to eat.
