"When we visited the gorge trail was closed, we were disappointed but it ended up working out well. We came to the park to hike from the lower entrance, when we learned that the trails were closed we drove to the upper entrance and hiked the rim trail which was wonderful. Its a little challenging at ..."first, mostly uphill but the woods are beautiful. Once you get going you can walk down near the water and there are some small waterfalls. If you continue to Lucifer falls, it's gorgeous you can see the falls from the above too if you hike the seemingly unending staircase. Don't tire out the view is worth it. It is a beautiful hike, even though we couldn't do the gorge trail we thoroughly enjoyed it! Had a picnic lunch in a nice wooded area with lots of tables. Really nice day.

"Really great theatre in Ithaca. Went to see a concert there, show was awesome and theatre was great too. Helpful, pleasant staff and really pretty decor. It's a non-smoking facility, which apparently even though they announce that some people decide to ignore, but staff was on top of it and will esc..."ort anyone out that is caught, which was nice. Depending on the venue there is alcohol served.

"We hiked at a few state parks in the area and this was the favorite. It was gorgeous. We chose to hike the gorge trail which was breathtaking and awesome. We went in the morning on a Friday and by the early afternoon there were quite a few people in the parking lot when we returned, so go early. We..." hiked a bit on the upper rim trail on the hike back which has the option of connecting with the gorge trail via a small bridge. That was nice as well. Very beautiful, don't miss it, if you pay for one entrance fee into a park it's good at other parks that day as well, which is nice.
