Bryan was very prompt picking us up at our hotel and come to find out we were the only ones on the tour so we had all the personal attention we c..."ould have wanted. Bryan is just a storehouse of historical information about the Wendover area, Salt Flats and the Air Base. Since we were the only ones on the tour he took his time and let us get out and check things out up close and personal. First we drove past the Potassium plant where they separate potassium chloride(potash) for fertilizer from the Salt Flats. Then we ventured out on the Salt Flats where we were able to get out and walk around a bit. and collect a few cakes of salt as souvenirs. during this time Brian explained all about the Bonneville Speedway races.   "Wendover is a great get away however the smokers take over all of the casinos 24 hours a day. When I got home I had to put every single item of clothing in the wash because of the stench. I don't smoke and I really don't care if others do however I had no choice but to breathe in every ione else's ..."smoke. Um not sure what the answer is as I know that they will not go "non smoking".
