"I arranged a half-day dog sledding experience for my husband and my daughter as a 14th birthday present in the first week of April 2013. Basecamp BigFork offered a personalized tour that offered wonderful extras like touring the kennels, getting to know the dogs, learning about dog sledding, and hel..."ping to harness the team to the sled. Mark cross-country skied as my husband and daughter drove the dogs--they had amazing views and exciting fun on the sled. The huge smiles on their faces as they returned from the trip said it all. I can only imagine Mark's mountain bike and kayak tours would be equally well run. We look forward to trying one of them on our next trip to Montana!

"This place looks so common as you drive east out of Bigfork on Highway 83, but the food is uncommonly good. On some days there is a line waiting to be served, but we wait. They also have a patio in the summer. Breakfast is fantastic and lunch is the same!"
