The Fountain-Houston is 42+ miles of beauty. at mile 5.5 there is the trail to Harmony of 12 miles. This goes through Preston and then at mile 6.5 follows Camp Creek which is a beautiful trout stream. My favorite part is Either Preston to Mile 13 or Peterson to Rushfird to Houston which has Bluffs FO the Peterson-Rushfird and then pretty much follows the Root River. On this section you will see Bluffs on both side that rise up to 450 feet above the valley. If you at all like Bluegrass Music do not miss the May and August festivals at Cushon Peak campground.
