- Ichn2TravlMulmur, Canada97 contributionsamazing little Bavarian village theme stores are all wonderful but overly expensive most of the items are from China unfortunately takes away from the whole experience but what isn't made over there right?Written 28 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MISTY CCincinnati, OH102 contributionsAs a wine and cider lover we came here to sample a few items. The wines were good but, the cider was better in our opinion. We came home with some cider that they don’t offer normally in the stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Written 9 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joseph MStow, OH83 contributionsPrior to entering the sanctuary, you can find pamphlets explaining the stained glass windows, and sites across the street. Pick these up for the self guided tour. Inside the church, all we visited was the sanctuary.
Wheelchair users: enter east side of building.
Across the street is the graveyard, a few historical markers, a log cabin and two church bells.
Wheelchair users: the path across the street can be accessed, but has some root damage in the asphalt.Written 3 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 123WrenSouth Lyon, MI156 contributionsWe had been wanting to visit this museum for some time and finally made it there. The museum is unique in that is covers the individual and their story more than weapons/tools or other aspects of serving in the military.Written 27 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Billy_DeanCharleston WV26 contributionsSo peaceful, and a treasure. The walk up to it has postings of the song Silent Night in different languages. Nice history. It's open when Bronner's is open. Was a highlight of visiting Frankenmuth.Written 29 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Joseph MStow, OH83 contributionsIt's odd to highlight the restrooms, but when you arrive, that might be first on your list. Good and accessible.
The location is in the center of town. If you are sight seeing all around the town, this is a nice place to take a break. Sit down and enjoy the fountain.
We did pick up a coupon book, but did not use it.Written 3 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So many beautiful gift items, ornaments, trees, lights, etc. It is absolutely wonderful. This is our favorite store in the whole world. they have a great snack bar on premises so you can spend the entire day there (and we do !!)
If you want some beautiful Christmas decor, this is absolutely the best place to go!Written 29 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were entranced by the warmness of the owners and all the animals they have. Will visit this place again! - ElizaGNFrankenmuth, MI90 contributionsCute store with Michigan themed items that is open all year round. As for the outside Farmers market, it's open Wednesdays and Saturdays in the summer and has many fruits, veggies, normal farm market items. The donuts from Butter crust bakery are fantastic! It annoys me that someone gave it two stars because they went in December and only the store was open. Ummm.... There's no outdoor farmers market in Michigan where you're going to pick up fresh corn in December! People are weird. Prices are a bit more expensive than you'd find at a roadside stand, but not terrible.Written 7 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brenda CJackson, MI5 contributionsjust not accessible for handicapped, had no side walks to rings , bathrooms had no automatic doors very difficult to get around.Written 2 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - oohbabyMichigan54 contributionsWe stopped in here thinking it would just be wool sweaters, gloves, etc. They actually make wool filled comforters and pillows right in the building!
The store had so many items including super soft blankets and wearable throws that are super soft and warm. Also home decor, beauty items, greeting cards and so much more. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're in Frankenmuth.Written 31 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There is an interesting band shell to check out; and plenty of room to walk about, picnic, engage in sports, or just relax and enjoy being outdoors.
This is a wonderful asset for the local community, and visitors alike.Written 4 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
