Open year round, Castle Farms is one of Northern Michigan’s top historic attractions, as well as one of the Midwest’s premiere wedding venues, with exclusive private bridal areas. But this 35 acre estate built in 1918 features so much more! Displayed throughout the majestic stone walls, soaring towers and magnificent gardens are a variety of museum quality collections featuring castles, antique toys, and royalty memorabilia from around the world. Our 1918 Museum showcases items from that time era, plus World War I. Children delight in feeding the huge rainbow trout swimming in the Reflection Pond, playing a game of giant chess, or hide-and-seek with the fairies and gnomes dwelling in the Enchanted Forest. Our Self-Guided Tours offer Scavenger Hunt tours for children, too! Everyone loves The Castle’s Garden Railroad; with more than 1,600 feet of track and 35 G-scale trains, it’s one of the largest in the State. Listed on both the National and State Historic Registries, Castle Farms is a world-class historic property where old world charm and modern-day elegance enchant visitors of all ages.

See up to eleven Lake Michigan Lighthouses by Air - Most rarely seen. Also see the beauty of the Beaver Archipelago. Remote deserted islands, gorgeous blue water – you might think you are in the Caribbean. May even spot an historic ship wreck from the air on your tour. Our aircraft offer great visibility to take plenty of pictures. Quiet and comfortable. Let us help you build a package that is best for you.

"There is interesting history here and you will want to hear all the stories. Kudos for taking something old and making it new again.
Great place for weddings, parties, conferences... Tours are available and recommended."
"My experience was the best and it was totally because of the wonderful people that captain this beautiful boat. They make you feel like you're family and create a relaxing atmosphere that just makes the beautiful ride even more wonderful than you can hope for. Northern Michigan isn't going to stay..." hidden for long from out-of-staters like me when you have such great beauty in the surroundings and the personalities of those that live here. I hope Bigtimetraveler101 gets another opportunity to have another amazing cruise because the rest of us certainly are!!

"Spent several days on the Keweenaw Star out of Charlevoix, MI. If you haven't had the opportunity to view northern Michigan from the water, this is the way to do it. It was a leisurely cruise on a comfortable ship, from Charlevoix north, under the Big Mac bridge, to Sault Ste. Marie on the first d..."ay. Day 2, we headed through the Soo Locks into an unusually calm Lake Superior. We returned to the Soo where we stayed at the Kewadin hotel again. The 3rd day, the ship returned to Charlevoix. The staff was a hard working bunch, friendly, and knowledgeable. Plenty of opportunity to see lighthouses, other huge vessel and gorgeous scenery, both US and Canada.
