The main brick dwelling quarters is a beautiful, simple, symmetrical building and not to be missed. There is also a barn with farm animals that children will enjoy and a school house that often has a school marm teaching lessons they way they would be taught 150 years ago! This makes the village great fun for children. There is also a Discovery center with baby chicks, and lots of hands on activities popular with kids under 12. There is quite a bit in the Discovery room for preschool children. If you like hiking, there is a marked trail that is about a mile long through the pretty woods near the village.
