The boat that they take out is quite large and capable of holding many people, however, the day we were there were less than 20 people on board, so I know that they lost money that day. When my husband picked up our tickets, they told him that they had, in fact, considered cancelling, but decided not to. That, in my opinion, is good business and we were really grateful to them for not cancelling the trip! We would not have had an opportunity to reschedule. Among his inventions was the remote control. The house today is open as a museum and stands tall overlooking Gloucester Harbor. The castle is complete with an indoor pool, tower rooms, a flag festooned great hall, a drawbridge, winding stone staircases, and, yes, a secret passage. It's a place full of fantasy with medieval details that are the stuff of dreams. It's easy to love this house. I visited with a large tour group.
