We had a wonderful four course extended luncheon to celebrate a family special occasion. We also experienced several of their wines, and found them especially nice.   "A "Must Do" if you are a wine lover."
  "We have been visiting the Cellardoor winery for many years now having stumbled upon it when we were renting a cottage in Northport back in 2003. Since that first visit it has been on our "favorite vacation things to do" list. Bettina Doulton took ownership in 2007 (I think I have the date right) ..."and has made some wonderful changes and additions. Don't miss the food/wine pairings they have a Sundays-the new tasting room is spectacular! And the wines? Well they have a fantastic selection-something for everyone. My husband and I are big fans of their Monte al Mare(red) and their Riesling especially but we love many of their other wines as well. Other than the food/wine pairings, a favorite day trip is to do a tasting, choose a wine to buy by the glass, grab a sandwich from their case (prepared by Lani from Megunticook Market), grab a seat out on their deck and enjoy the gorgeous view!   "Not only are the wines good , but the building is beautiful. Plus you get to sit down for a wine tasting. The first 4 wine samples are free - a first for any winery I have ever visited. There is also a tasting building in Rockport,but take the drive to Lincolnville. It is a great drive."
