This stop is worth the extra time. The beauty of the Church, constructed from local stone, provides a special place to find spirit.

This is a nice scenic drive for anytime of the year. More off-season you go, the more leisurely you can be. Beautiful views abound with activities along the way, such as beaches an shopping. There are opportunities to stop an relax on benches while taking in the ocean views.

Walker's Point is another scenic view to be had while driving along Ocean Ave. You can see the Bush Compound and scenic ocean views. Viewing is good all year long.

This is a nice beach, not huge like Long Sands, but plenty of rock-free sand. Nice views, and a playground. Parking would be tough in the summer.

Parson's Drive is a nice walking and driving area with really nice scenic views. Crowded during the summer, but you can take your time while driving during the off-season.

Beautiful walk along the coast on white sand beach. We went close to sunset and there wasn’t very many people. Take a jacket with you.

It was in the mid-50s on January 2 when we viewed the Goat Island Lighthouse and outlying structures from the Cape Porpoise pier. So, the tiny parking lot was still filled to capacity, even though the three seasonal restaurants were closed. The dock personnel were still busy, though.

My wife and I have been travelling to Kennebunkport, ME for 26 years now, typically annually and discovered Mast Cove on our first trip there. Jean Briggs makes the world of purchasing art so very comfortable that anyone who feels they do not know how to buy art just need spend sometime with her. Each and every time we go there, she suggests she put on some coffee or maybe a glass of wine and the experience begins. From our first purchase, an Andrew Stevevich print of The Dance and a watercolor of a finch, we have such fond memories of the time with Jean as well as the art we have purchased. For anyone who enjoys art, this is a mandatory visit while in Kennebunkport.

After visiting many galleries, I stumbled upon the W. Robert Paine gallery and met Mr. Paine. He showed me around his gallery and regaled me with stories about his life. His paintings are absolutely beautiful. Mr. Paine himself, is charming, kind, amazingly talented, and fun to talk with. He won me over completely. If you ever have the chance to visit this gallery, take it! Make time in your schedule for it. You won't be sorry.

We had to view the compound from afar, but the views surrounding are scenic, and quite pretty. The drive past it in both directions is nice. It's easier to take your time during the off-season when there's a lot less traffic.
